News - Swpp Licentiate Qualification !
SWPP LICENTIATE
I am very pleased to tell you that today I received news that I am now a qualified member of SWPP and have gained my Licentiate!
Two years ago nearly to the date Michelle Sinclair Photography began! It was a life changing decision for my family and myself but I have never looked back. Starting up my own photography business whilst raising my family was a big step but I am so pleased I did.
I am always learning and developing as I want to deliver the best possible images to my clients. Behind closed doors training and practicing is very much a part of my work. SWPP are a governing body for professional photographers who I recently joined. They offer many benefits including mentoring programme and qualifications. They assess and grade photographers on their ability's to deliver quality work. I had always had it in my head to begin with the mentoring programme and work towards my Licentiate qualification.
So about a month ago I summited 20 images to my mentor to give me critique so I could work on them. Within two weeks I received information back from them. Along with critique for each image I was told my images are worthy for consideration for qualification. I was delighted as I had thought I would be a few months working towards this. With a few small changes to my 20 images my images were then ready and I took a deep breath and hit the send button! Only 10 days later I hear back that all my images have passed and were graded at a high level for my Licentiate qualification!!
A fantastic 2 years of business so far and now with this I look forward to improving and working towards my next qualification, and of course capturing beautiful images for my lovely clients!
Shown are my 20 images which gained me my qualification.
