Today I am pleased to announce I have won 2 awards for my newborn photography. I have been awarded 2 Bronze bars from the Guild of Photographers.

I am a proud member of The Guild of Photographers which are an association for individuals who are committed to the art of photography.

As I am always trying to push myself and learn more I feel its important to be part of such a group.

Having joined in March,  I decided to enter into the monthly image of the month competition. A little nervous but as I love a challenge I thought why not!

The competition is very demanding they look for many different factors in the image, posing, lighting and composition are all important.

A Bronze award with the Guild of Photographers  is - "Awarded to images of a strong standard in the national competition (something to be proud of) "

What's next with me - I am in the middle of submitting my 21 images to a panel of judges for my qualified status with the Guild, which I am excited about.

Every year I  continue to obtain more training for my newborn handling and safe posing.
